Left Handers Club

As a Club member you can receive a free certificate and download our unique “backwards” calendar (see below) and we will send you our email newsletters with great information about left-handedness, details of new products and member offers.

Just type in your email address and first name above (please type carefully – about 10% of club joiners mis-type their address and we cannot send their newsletters or contact them). Please Do NOT put “www.” in front of your email address or a full stop or space at the end. Your address should look something like this: name@host.com or name@host.co.uk and it will end in a three letter domain (.com, .net, .org) or a two letter country code (.uk, .fr, .ca etc)

Once you click the submit button we will send you a welcome email. If you do not receive a confirmation email, there may have been a problem with the email address that you entered – please return to this joining form and re-apply, checking your email carefully.

    Hi Guys,

I am a Lefty, and at the age of 37, I have finally decided to embrace this difference and appreciate it for what it is! Rare awesomeness!!

Can I also say I am proud to say I am Dyslexic and have struggled through life as a result, but it has made me the person I am today!!I

Sorry I know this is now getting a little complex, but I know you guys will get it…

I need some clarification whether I am actually Cross-dominance or Mixed-handed.

    Is that ok?

Apparently Mixed Dominance is different to Ambidextrous, which is the equal ability to use both hands, this is not me…..

I do precision with my left and sport right-handed, I would have played guitar right-handed if I had of been handed a left-handed guitar….

The stats are that Cross-dominance or Mixed-handedness is the change of hand preference between tasks. This is uncommon in the population with about a 1% prevalence.

    I think is pretty cool…….!

I am really to happy to have join you guys and look forward to the 13th of August!!

    Cheers

    Troy

I’m a 1950’s era lefty who was gently & repeatedly encouraged to be a righty. As all leftys know, we are born this way! I’ve always wondered what dire consequences my parents & teachers thought were in store for me as a lefty. Thanks for the membership.

  8. Kathryn Bushong says:

I have found the hardest thing is dealing with all the safety buttons on power tools. They are for those right handers.
