The easiest way to celebrate Left Handers Day is on Twitter and Facebook.
Your Guide to Twitter and Facebook
You can also turn your home or workplace into a Left Handed Zone.
We are very interested in your ideas on ways to celebrate Left Handers Day and all of the good things about being left-handed, as well as ways to show right-handers some of the frustrations and difficulties we face in everyday life because of the way things are designed for the right-handed majority.
If you have any ideas, please add them as comments below and we will put them all together on a page and in a forthcoming newsletter.
My seniors Club will be celebrating Left Handers Day! We will have challenges for righties and games for all.
Leftie for 50+ years. I’ve learned that once you go left, you never go right.
I shall celebrate International Left-Handers Day 2024 by playing several of my seven custom left-handed guitars…okay, two of them are electric basses, but how many lefties can match that?
I’ll also play my piano, which of course is right-handedly designed…as is EVERY piano on earth…except one custom piano some European guy built with the keyboard reversed back in the 19th Century–you can find a photo of it online–so that the highest notes are on the left. G-d knows what kind of intoxicant you’d have to ingest to be able to actually listenibly PLAY it.
Enjoy our special day all day today…and then next year and subsequent August 13ths as well!
